Seafoam was created to mimic the mixing of salt water and sand. The color was inspired when our creator was making a dye from cabbage. The stunning shade of purple was so overpowering that she added some sodium bicarbonate to make it more alkaline. The transformation from purple to blue was immediate and it dried a rich seafoam green.
These wooden hoops are made of raw wood and are then hand dyed and sealed. Each color has been made out of an environmentally friendly and non toxic dye. The colors have been made to closely mimic that of a handmade plant dye that our creator likes to make for textiles at home.
